Haikus

Behold sky opens,

Clouds parting, the sun shining

Clawing to get out

In silence we crave

where the world is only love

noise keeps us away

A busy signal

Putting up the barriers

To loves and strangers

Note: Two writers from Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop visit our class on Friday mornings to facilitate creative writing workshops. These were poems I wrote during today’s workshop with students.
